Here they are!!!!

I couldn't wait any longer!! I had to post the invite pics for my hubbys party now! Here they are! What do you think?? Comments?? They take a while to make, but they were just what I wanted and I know my hubby will LOVE them!!!

So, are you ready for Easter? Are you ready for the Easter Bunny? Are you hosting this year or going to visit? I am hosting x2 this year, so I have 11 people for dinner on Friday and 12-14 people for dinner on Sunday! It's going to be busy!!!

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a LARGE Stampin'Up! order tomorrow!! I can't wait! It will be like Christmas, with all the FREE stuff from the Sale-A-Bration sale and the new "toys" I can learn how to use and make more fun things with! Can't wait to share them with you!

I wish you all a very Safe and Happy Easter! Take care of yourself and enjoy your family time!

Happy Spring!

Wow, I actually did it!! I made it back here to blog again BEFORE it had been months and months!!! I'm keeping my promise.....

So, it was literally BEAUTIFUL here in Ontario Canada today! It was warm and sunny and just lovely! What a first day of spring! Bring on summer!!

I am furiously working away, making Guitar-shaped invitations for my hubby's surprise 50th Birthday this June and I can't wait to post them and show you how I made out! I have to make 15 of them in total (I am making him one as his birthday card, so he can keep it) and I have to wonder, why on earth do I pick the most time consuming, fiddly item I can find to make?? I guess it is because it has to be just right by me and I know what I want. :) I don't settle on something till I know it is IT. So, on I go...... I promise I will post them soon! :)

Have a great week and talk soon!

Here are a couple of other Easter cards that I made, most of the ideas from people on our demonstrator website. I just LOVE the new Easter stamp! The bunnies are just so adorable!

Happy 2012!!

Wow! It's 2012 already!! Where does the time go??? Well, there has been a lot happening in my life since my last entry here in November!! My Mom had major emergency surgery and so I have been seeing her through that and then Christmas was upon us and .....the rest is history! Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season and 2012 is starting out good for you!!
I have so many things I wanted to share with you, but I don't know which to post first. I think I will post a few pics from Christmas items that I managed to make and then I will post some of things I am working on now, for Valentines Day. So, here goes. The pics above are pics of Xmas cards, a photo album I made for each of my 4 dearest friends, a wine bottle cover with matching card and then a pic of the 88 Favor cards I just finished for a friend at work. She is getting married next weekend and instead of giving favors, she is donating the money to cancer research, so she needed me to create cards saying that for the tables. Her theme was black and white with snowflakes. Did I do a good job? (Sorry, for some reason the pic won't load the right way around!)
Talk to you soon. Hope everyone out there is well!
Jackie

Fall is here!

Wow, so maybe you were thinking I had fallen off the earth? Nope, just too busy with life in general over the last little while, but I'm back now! :) Like all of you, I am starting to gear up for the holiday season, so Christmas doesn't sneak up on me! Here is a card that I saw and just loved, made by Darlene DeVries. I CASEd it, but changed it's birthday theme to a Christmas one, using our blingy glitter paper! Also I didn't have the "woodgrain" stamp, so I had to hand draw the "wood" look on the "trees". I got that idea from Lynn Pratt. Let me know what you think!! I will be posting regularly again, so check back soon for more ideas!! Thanks for stopping by! :)
